Core-Warming Device

This is a plastic, disposable device that helps warm the inside of a patient’s body during and after major surgery.  It would greatly improve the current, superficial method of using a heavy blankets on patients whose body temperatures are dropping from within. 

The Taheri Core-Warming Device is inserted through the skin.  The minimally invasive balloon-like device is injected into the vena cava, and a warm stream of saline running through the balloon helps the blood maintain a safer, more comfortable temperature.  Patent issued.
